Perfect Pork Tenderloin
Here’s my go-to pork tenderloin recipe — one of my favorites because it’s low in calories but full of flavor. It starts with a cumin-spiced dry rub I originally found on SkinnyTaste. I usually double the rub recipe, especially if I’m grilling more than two small tenderloins.
A few years ago, I stumbled across the perfect grilling method (thanks, Google!) — and it’s never let me down. It’s called the 7-6-5 method, and it’s so simple. You can read more about it here, but here’s the gist: sear one side for 7 minutes, flip and grill for 6 minutes, then turn once more, cut the heat, and let it go for 5 minutes. Rest under foil for 10 minutes — perfectly cooked every time!
The 7-6-5 method for grilling pork tenderloin never fails — perfectly cooked and juicy every time.
Sometimes I serve it with coconut rice and sheet-pan veggies, but the other night I used it as the base for Cuban pork sandwiches — and they were a hit.
Give this recipe and method a try the next time you’re craving a protein-packed dinner that’s light on fat but big on flavor. Enjoy!
